Today, demos for both The Simpsons and Conan were released on the Xbox Live Marketplace, as well as Inside Lionhead Episode 3. The demo for The Simpsons was released on the PlayStation Network last Thursday, and features Homer and Bart taking on Lard Lad, and Conan has roughly 15 minutes of gameplay, showing some of the basic combat of the full game and will be on the PlayStation Network on this coming Thursday; 11th October. The Inside Lionhead episodes are basically a short series of episodes showing how the studio ticks while making Fable 2, going into the insane development processes that Lionhead are known for, as well as giving Peter Molyneux some much needed space to vent his eccentricity.

Bob Aniello, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, THQ commented on the Conan demos, stating:

“The 75th anniversary of Robert E. Howard’s first published story and the popularity of Conan provide a great backdrop for us to offer consumers a power-packed, action adventure video game this year. The playable demo will give players a chance to step into the world of Conan, sample a variety of deadly attacks and explore an environment recognizable to fans of Howard’s original stories.”
