Nintendo snatches a PS3 title from under Sony's nose.
It was revealed today that the next installment in Capcom's Monster Hunter series will be heading to the Nintendo Wii. This comes as a surprise for Sony fans, as Monster Hunter 3 was originally announced as a PS3 title, with Monster Hunters 1 and 2 on PSP selling over a million units each.
Katsuhiko Ichii, a managing corporate officer at Capcom, said that the reason for the platform change was due to high development costs of the PS3, and the project has officially moved to Wii as a result.
No further details on the game were announced.
