Today, new downloadable content for Oblivion was announced, which will be released on October 15th for both the PC and the Xbox 360. In addition, for the first week it will be absolutely free to download, which is a lovely sentiment by Bethesda to thank their loyal fans. This will be the last DLC pack for the game, and is packing a nice sizeable chunk of goodness.

Basically, the DLC will add Battlehorn Castle, the Fighter's Stronghold, a nice little place in Colovian Highlands which is just west of Chorrol. You get to take over the entire castle, and hire staff to make armour and look after the place while you’re out and about on your travels.
