Along with the confirmation of Sonic The Hedgehog making an appearance in Smash Bros Brawl, Nintendo had some bad news for eager fans during the Nintendo Conference Fall 2007 event. It seems that the game has been officially delayed until next year in Japan, with the new release date of January 24th, 2008.
It appears that fans in the States will also be in for the same disappointment, as the official US Smash Bros. DOJO website removed the "December 3rd" release date and replaced it with a TBD.
UPDATE: It has now been confirmed by Nintendo of America that Super Smash Bros. Brawl has indeed been delayed until next year, with the new scheduled date of Febuary 10th, 2008. Still no word on a European date...
