Happy birthday, Mr. Miyamoto

Eddz Walsh, 16 November 2005

Article summary (if available):
Fifty-three today and still bringing us the latest and greatest in entertainment.
Today (or, well, yesterday in Japan), Shigeru Miyamoto, considered by many to be the father of the video games industry, celebrates his 53rd birthday.

After recently suffering from heart conditions, Mr. Miyamoto fortunately recovered and strongly lives on to create updates to some of the most popular video games of all time.

Mr. Miyamoto is famed for creating Donkey Kong back in the early '80s, as well as Mario, Zelda and most recently, Pikmin.

We're looking forwards to once again playing his latest Zelda game, Twilight Princess, as well as his games on the upcoming Nintendo console, Revolution.
