Welcome to the brand new A Week In Games here at the brand new Club Skill! Every week we’ll take a look at the new releases for UK and European stores. We’ll also have one Featured Game which is usually the biggest or best release for the week. Finally each game will now receive a rating based on anticipation.
Without further ado let’s get on with the releases for 16th December! It’s a fairly quiet week, we’ve now passed the pre-Christmas release rush, and we’re settling down until the New Year.
Featured Game
Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie
The console versions were available last week, however to coincide with the box office release of the film on Friday, you’ll be able to buy the game for PSP. Following the plot from the film, King Kong has been rated as one of the best move-game tie in titles ever (we all know about the crap we usually get!).
Rating: 4/5
This Week
Madden NFL 06
It’s American Football at its worst. Well I hate it anyway. Nevertheless it’s the official game to the NFL series with all the features from the console versions squashed down into mini-format.
Rating: 1/5
The Sims 2
Wow, another PSP release. What a busy week it is! Again, think The Sims 2 but on your handheld. All the PC and recent console voyeuristic features are included, but now you can fiddle with your family anywhere!
Rating: 3/5
Street Racing Syndicate
On the racing menu are of course the cars. And those sexy ladies! You can modify over 40 cars which you race through Miami , Philadelphia and LA. Race to win the all important cash and the eyes of those women (or should that be breasts!).
