I heard a MS high up person said that the HD-Drive would only be used for HD movie capability.
If true, then MS truly is screwed. They need that drive.
I think the only way that It can be used effectively, and not end up like the PS2 hardrive, is by bundling it with Halo3.
I mean, what kind of 360 person would you be if you didn't buy halo 3?
that is the reason why 1/4-1/2 the people buy the 360!

So apparently the some sources are telling me that Microsoft my consider to go and use HD-DVDs for the 360 by the second or third generation of the 360s, which means that people who own theirs now may have to buy an upgrade component to become HD-DVD capable....lol....just thought that was funny and something you should know

Uh Oh looks like Matt M. is in a bind...quick use stealth and escape.LOL. But yeah I surely hope I get my 360 in the second shipment...in fact here's been my train of thought throught the whole process:
Nov. 21...yay tomorrow I get my 360
Nov.22...really, I'm in the "second shipment"
5 min. later...what you don't know when you're getting them in
Dec. 10...oh well looks like i'll be getting mine on the 19th.
Dec. 11...hold on you only got 16 on launch and I'm 20th on the second shipment list
5 min. later...holy crap I don't think I'm in second shipment anymore
1 min. later...puts gun to head
